The 5th Annual Toast of Darlington presented by the Greater Darlington Chamber of Commerce will be held this Thursday, November 5, 2015 on historic Oak Street. Oak Street is located between North Street and Cashua Street behind the Darlington Square. The event will start at 6:30 p.m. and last until 9:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $35.00 in advance or for $40.00 the night of the event. Call or stop by the Chamber office to purchase tickets.

The event this year will be presented in memory of Sobie Dixon, who was a major contributor in making this event a success in past years.

Last year the event drew just over 250 people.

According to Chamber Executive Director, Sabrina Derry, it is projected that there will be over 350 people in attendance. Local cooks with reputations of the finest cuisines will be serving their most requested dishes. Beverages will be provided.
Entertainment will be provided by Lady Di and the Lizard Men band.

“Lady Di and the Lizard Men band were popular last year,” said Derry. “We are looking forward to their extraordinary and spirit-moving music again this year.”

For additional information on this event or for opportunities to cook or sponsor, contact Sabrina Derry at 843-393-2641 or visit the Chamber office located at 38 Public Square, Darlington.
