Summerville ribbon cutting
The Greater Darlington Chamber of Commerce staged a ribbon cutting ceremony for a major new housing development now open in Darlington County. Summerville, a planned development by Evans Construction, is an 80-lot community offering new single-family dwellings from around 1,400 to 2,100 square feet, with options available for various needs and budgets.
Currently available homes are priced from $134,000 to $245,000, with many sporting stylish upgrades like ceramic tile flooring and granite countertops.
Surrounded by Chamber members, friends and family, and some of the 110+ employees working to create Summerville, Keith Evans (left), owner of Evans Construction, joined with wife Jessica (center) and son Chandler (right) to cut the ribbon and celebrate the development’s official grand opening on May 1.
