Single car collision kills two men
A single car collision on Sunday, November 15, 2015 claimed the life of two Darlington men.
David Christopher McAllister, 29, and Edward McAllister, 34, both of Darlington were pronounced dead at the scene by Darlington County Coroner J Todd Hardee.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Billy Farrow Highway and Carolina Avenue in Hartsville, when the vehicle they were driving collided with a utility pole.
The incident remains under investigation by the Darlington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
As of press time on Monday, Hardee noted that the kinship of the men had not been determined.
