Sheriff’s Deputies investigating carjacking
Darlington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to reports of a carjacking at approximately 10 p.m. near E. Billy Farrow Hwy. and Jamestown Ave. in the Darlington area on Nov. 23. A male driver of a vehicle was attempting to visit a girlfriend’s residence when the victim was carjacked by the girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend. The vehicle was taken from the victim. Sheriff’s Deputies were able to locate the abandoned vehicle near-by. The victim was transported to a local hospital. More information about the suspect will be released as it becomes available.
