Sheriff’s Department conducts investigation
The Darlington County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit has completed an investigation of the distribution of illegal narcotics in the Hartsville are of Darlington County.
Investigators arrested Marion Wendell Brown, Jr., 32, of Hartsville, on June 6 at his residence on Westover Drive. Brown has been charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, first offense. Brown appeared before a Darlington County Magistrate on June 8 and received a $10,000 bond and has been released.
