News and Press staff bring home statewide awards
The staff of the News and Press was recently presented with four awards from the South Carolina Press Association. The staff won first place for overall General Excellence in the Weekly Under 4,500 distribution division. This is the second time in the last seven years that the News and Press has won this prestigious award, proving that the newspaper’s philosophy of providing its readers hyper-local coverage is being recognized across the entire state.
