Nestlé Waters hosting two job fairs

Nestlé Waters North America is partnering with SC Works, ReadySC and McBee High School to host two job fairs for positions at a new bottling plant in Chesterfield County. The first event will be held Wednesday, August 26 from 8 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at SC Works, 1319 S 4th Street in Hartsville. The second event will be held Saturday, August 29 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McBee High School, 264 E Pine Avenue in McBee.

Nestlé Waters is looking to hire a variety of positions including production operators, forklift/loader operators, maintenance mechanics, team coordinators, raw material handlers, and dock coordinators. In order to be eligible for these positions, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Manufacturing experience is preferred. Applicants must be willing to submit to a drug screen/background test and be willing to work any shift, including weekends.

Applicants should bring an updated resume to the job fair and should apply online at www.nestlewaters.com/south-carolina for positions of interest prior to attending the job fair. Individuals who would like to apply for a position, but unable to attend a job fair may still apply online at www.nestlewaters.com/south-carolina.
Nestlé Waters offers a comprehensive benefit package for full-time positions that includes medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability, and life insurance options. Additional benefits could include a 401k plan, annual profit sharing based on company performance, vacation, sick time and holiday pay.

Construction crews broke ground on the Chesterfield County bottling plant in January 2015 with plans for the Nestlé Waters facility to open in early 2016. The plant will bottle Deer Park® natural spring water and Nestle Pure Life® purified water. Chesterfield County, SC was chosen for the new facility due in part to the abundance of high quality spring water and the excellent workforce.
