Marijuana plants located in Mechanicsville
The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit, SLED Aviation Unit and DNR conducted a state coordinated eradication operation around Darlington County. on June 7, 2016.
According to Sheriff Wayne Byrd, 24 marijuana plants with a street value over $46,000 were located in the Mechanicsville during the operation.
