Man held in 2 shootings
A Darlington-area man was being held in connection with two recent shootings, the Darlington Police Department said.
Alfred Andre Richardson Samuel, 31, was arrested by the Darlington Police Department for attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a stolen pistol and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The arrest was in connection with a shooting at 102 Lamar Highway Dec. 6, the department said.
The suspect was also charged in another shooting Dec. 7 at Syracuse Street and West Broad Street. In that case, he was charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The Darlington Police Department is asking anyone with information about these incidents to contact the department at 843-398-4026. The incidents are still under investigation.
