Man arrested following traffic stop
On October 8, 2026, the Darlington County Combined Drug Unit, which consists of Darlington County Deputies and Hartsville City Officers, conducted a traffic stop on the 1700 block of Ousleydale Road in the Hartsville area of Darlington County, as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Donovan Squire, was arrested and investigators located over 2.5lbs of marijuana in the backseat of his vehicle.
Donovan Squire was arrested and charged with Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana. Squire is currently being held the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center awaiting his bond hearing.
