Hartsville sent a clear message on Tuesday night, August 20, dismantling the Spring Valley Vikings in straight sets to push their record to a flawless 6-0. The 3-0 sweep didn’t just extend the win streak — it delivered the most lopsided result the Lady Red Foxes have posted all season.

The tone was set immediately. Hartsville came out swinging in the opening set and never let up, cruising to a 25-13 win before closing out the match 25-16, 25-18.

Hitter Hannah Nesseth was the engine behind the offense, slamming home 17 kills to lead all attackers. She had plenty of support at the net thanks to setter Mya Madaris, who orchestrated the attack with 19 assists. Madaris didn’t stop there — she also topped the team from the service line, firing off five aces to spark Hartsville’s momentum throughout the night.

With the win banked, Hartsville now turns its attention to a busy stretch. The Lady Red Foxes head into tournament play this Saturday, August 22, taking on King’s Academy. They’ll return home the following week for a Thursday night showdown against Georgetown, set for a 7 p.m. first serve on August 27.

Six matches in, zero losses — Hartsville is proving early on that this team is built to contend.
