Kalmia Gardens offers gardening course

Kalmia Gardens is offering a four-week Green Gardening Course at the Joslin Education Center this fall.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about gardening techniques such as plant pathology, soil health, landscaping, proper pruning, and composting. The course is designed to provide something for everyone, regardless of prior gardening experience.

The Joslin Center is located at 1520 West Carolina Avenue, Hartsville S.C. 29550. Classes will meet on Tuesday evenings, Sept. 20-Oct. 11, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The class includes a lab on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
