The Hartsville Red Foxes defeated Trinity Collegiate on Friday March 3rd, 10-0, to win the Pee Dee Invitational Tournament.  

Hartsville got 7 runs in the first inning.  Jackson Moore started the scoring with a 2 run double followed by a barrage of walks and an error that helped Hartsville score 7 runs without another hit in the inning.  The Red Foxes went on to gain another 3 runs in the 3rd inning.

John Alexander got the game win, throwing 5 innings, giving up only 2 hits with 5 strike outs on the night.  

At the plate Dawson McKimmey collected 2 hits, both bunts, to lead the Foxes in the hit column,  Moore, Andrew Askins, Damari James, and Grayson Weekley each had 1 hit.  

Hartsville will be back on the field Tuesday March 7th at Camden and Trinity will play at Carolina Academy on March 10th. Show support for our local athletes!
