Governor’s Run hosts American Legion Golf Tournament

The American Legion Golf Tournament was held on Friday, September 12, 2023, at the Governor’s Run Golf Club, 655 Club Dr., in Lamar. Celebrating Veterans, each team was required to have at least one veteran. Proceeds benefitted the Quad Softball Team. The tournament was sponsored by American Legion Post 13. The winners of the tournament were the Citizens Bank of Hartsville team. Team members are pictured here (left to right): Paul Robbins, Curtis Tyner, Darrell Cassidy and Drake Cassidy. Other winners of the golf tournament were as follows: 2nd place: Creekside Boys: Randy Hladky, Don Johnson, Franklin Dudley and Tommy Patrick. 3rd place: Barry McGirt, Ron Welch, Ron Saluda & Jerry McLellan.
