Genesis begins final phase of Expansion
Genesis Healthcare, Inc. proudly announces the official groundbreaking of Phase 3-the final phase-of its Pee Dee Health Care location expansion, a project that underscores the organization’s enduring commitment to providing high-quality, affordable healthcare to communities throughout the Pee Dee and Low Country regions.
Phase 3 marks the culmination of a multi-phase development plan aimed at enhancing services and access to care. The final phase will include the construction of a 12,000-square-foot, twostory addition that will be seamlessly connected to the newly renovated Phase 2 area of the facility. Once complete, the entire building will span 48,000 square feet.
The new addition is designed to significantly expand the center’s capabilities. It will include a state-of-the-art dental suite featuring five dental rooms, a dedicated case management suite with eight exam rooms, and an advanced imaging suite equipped with a new CT scanner. The project will also introduce new administrative offices and additional parking at the front of the facility, ensuring more accessible and efficient experience for patients and staff alike.

Construction on Phase 3 is expected to proceed quickly, with a focus on minimizing disruptions to existing services.
