Former Detention Center Officer Arrested
On February 6, Sheriff Tony Chavis requested the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to investigate an incident that occurred February 4 at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center.
Agents with SLED have arrested and charged Demarcus Deante Cooks with misconduct in office. Cooks is no longer employed with the Detention Center.
