Fatal crash in Society Hill
A tragic collision on Highway 15 in Darlington County’s Society Hill area has claimed one life and left two individuals hospitalized. South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the incident at 3:19 p.m. Tuesday at the junction of Highway 15 and Bellevue Drive. Master Trooper William Bennett disclosed that a northbound Honda and a southbound Dodge collided at the intersection. The sole occupant of the Honda was hospitalized, while both driver and passenger of the Dodge were transported for treatment. Sadly, the Dodge’s passenger succumbed to their injuries later. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
