Deputies respond to altercation at prison farm
On July 17 at approximately 6 p.m. Darlington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a physical altercation at the Darlington County Prison Farm located at 200 Camp Road. Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested Prison Farm Director Ulanda Green and are expected to charge Green with assault and battery, third degree. Upon notification and prior to the arrest of Green Darlington County Administrator Charles Stewart placed Green on administrative leave.
The Darlington County Prison Farm is not affiliated with the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office or the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center. Green is currently being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
