DCSO Drug Enforcement Unit arrest Darlington man charged with distribution of crack cocaine
The following press release from Sheriff J. Wayne Byrd states that a three month long investigation has produced a drug arrest on Orange Street in Darlington today.
“On March 4, 2016, the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Orange Street in Darlington, after a three month long investigation.
As a result of the search, six individual bags of crack cocaine packaged for sale and one bag of marijuana was seized. Also seized was drug paraphernalia used to facilitate and package narcotics.”
Robert Earl Richardson, age 41, male of Darlington, was charged with Three Counts of Distribution of Crack Cocaine; One Count Possession With Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine; and Simple Possession of Marijuana.
