Shaw Family surprises Darlington Police Department with sweet words…and treats!
The officers of the Darlington Police Department had a special surprise on July 8 – a day when many law enforcement officers were grieving the sad events that occurred in cities across the nation. The Shaw Family of Darlington brought messages of thanks along with sweet treats.
“What a wonderful way to show kindness! The Darlington Police Department would like to thank the Shaw family for showing kindness to all of the officers at the department. Your unexpected kindness means so much!” said Lt. Kim Nelson, shown with the children above.
“I would just like to echo Lt. Nelson’s appreciation of this very kind gesture by the Shaw family. God bless you and thank you again with my whole heart.” added Darlington Police Chief Danny Watson.
