Darlington County School District returning student online registration begins July 18
Parents with returning students in the Darlington County School District (DCSD) can avoid long registration lines at the school by taking advantage of online registration.
The Registration Gateway, which will open on July 18, will allow parents with returning students to complete registration online, significantly reducing time spent at the school. Parents who register online will still need to go to the school during registration to show proof of residency and pay any fees.
Parents with students who will be new to the Darlington County School District (DCSD) must still register their child at the school during the first week of August. Registration dates and times will be posted on the DCSD website by July 15.
In order to use the online registration, parents will need login credentials for each student. Credentials will be emailed to parents the week of July 10. Parents can also retrieve credentials by logging into Parent Portal, beginning July 18, and clicking the “Registration Username” icon at the top of the page. Additionally, login credentials can be obtained by calling the registration hotline, which will be available from July 18-21 and July 25-28 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day. The number is 843-398-2236.
There will be a parent link on the home page of the DCSD website, www.dcsdschools.org, beginning July 14. This will provide parents access to the DCSD Registration Information page. From there, parents will find resources helpful to the registration process.
Only returning students will be able to register through the Registration Gateway. Parents will still need to go to the school to show proof of residency and pay fees. New students must be registered at their school during the first week of August
