CPRMC welcomes new Primary Care physician
Dr. Krista Kozacki.
Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center (CPRMC) is pleased to welcome Krista M. Kozacki, M.D. to the Carolina Pines Medical Group Primary Care team. A highly accomplished and board-certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. Kozacki brings more than 30 years of experience caring for patients of all ages. She is known for her compassionate, patient-centered approach and has built a distinguished career serving families throughout the Pee Dee region.
Dr. Kozacki most recently served as a Family Physician at HopeHealth, LLC in Florence, where she spent 12 years providing integrated, comprehensive care to a diverse and growing patient population. Her work included preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve community health outcomes. She also played a key role in training residents and medical students, while contributing to organizational initiatives and leadership.
Prior to HopeHealth, Dr. Kozacki owned and operated Florence Family Health Care, LLC for nearly a decade – building a loyal patient base of more than 4,000 individuals. Her earlier experience includes serving as a Family Physician with Carolina Family Physicians and McLeod Physician Associates.
Dr. Kozacki completed her Family Medicine Residency at McLeod Regional Medical Center in 1994 and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Buffalo. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Canisius College. Throughout her career, she has been recognized with multiple honors, including Best of the Pee Dee Family Doctor and several academic and professional awards.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Kozacki has held numerous leadership roles, including Department Chair for Family Medicine at HopeHealth and Chairperson of the Medical Executive Committee at McLeod. Her community involvement includes guest lectures on nutrition, women’s health, preventative care, and physical fitness and service on the Florence School District 1 Advisory Board.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Kozacki enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, landscaping, baking, and participating in local community events.
