Coker University opens Garrett Bakhsh Fan Den

Coker University is proud to announce the grand opening of the Garrett Bakhsh fan den on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 1:30 p.m. on the Coker Athletic Fields.

Garrett Bakhsh was a student at Coker who lost his life in 2020. His family, Natalie and Brad Bakhsh, raised money for the fan den to remember his life.

Coker’s Athletic Fields have long-needed stadium seating for visitors and sports fans. This fan den will provide adequate infrastructure for the Cobras’ growing fan base with 350 seats.

“We wanted to do something (at Coker) because it’s where he would want to be,” Brad Bakhsh said. “It’s where his heart was.”
