Coastal Carolina University announces Dean’s List for Spring 2016

Approximately 1,940 students have made the Spring Semester 2016 Dean’s List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. To qualify for the President’s List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.

Area students who made the Dean’s list include:

Shaikiel Andrews, a sophomore majoring in elementary education, of Darlington

Kristen Darmafall, a sophomore majoring in early childhood education, of Florence

Alexander Ferguson, a junior majoring in music, of Hartsville

Shonda Gibson, a senior majoring in public health, of Hartsville

Tyra Goodson, a sophomore majoring in political science, of Timmonsville

Dana Howell, a post-undergraduate majoring in early childhood education, of Florence

Markeya Legette, a sophomore majoring in public health, of Florence

Ryan Staley, a junior majoring in marine science, of Florence

Anna Webber, a senior majoring in management, of Florence
