Darlington Presbyterian Church
311 Pearl St., invites the community to its Annual Harvest Festival Saturday, Oct. 27, from 4-7 p.m. A BBQ supper will be served and there will be live bluegrass music, games, pumpkin painting, storytelling and more.

Savannah Grove AME Church
1401 Andrew Mills Road, Lamar, will have their annual Harvest Festival program Sunday, Oct. 28, at 4 p.m. Rev. Glenn McLellan, pastor of Soul Chapel AME Church, Gresham, will be the guest speaker.

Mount Tabor AME Church in Lamar plans an annual homecoming program Oct. 28 at 3 p.m.

Ceremony Sunday
Nov. 11, 4 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, 1402 East Pocket Road, Florence, honoring Rev. Dr. Waymon Mumford and Leading Lady Minister Senora Mumford.

Indian Branch UMC will hold its fall chicken bog Nov. 2 at Indian Branch Community Center, 4-8 p.m. $8 per plate.

First Baptist Church
216 S. Main St., Darlington, plans to hold A Taste of Christmas Nov. 1 from 6-8 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Homecoming
Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, located in the Bethel Community, will host their 49th Homecoming event and 143 years of existence on Sunday, Oct. 28. Our morning services will begin at 11 a.m.

Prayer Service
New Life In Christ Church of Darlington, 119 Chestnut St., Darlington, will hold a Noon Day Prayer Service every Friday.

The Lord Cares
Please continue to assist The Lord Cares in caring for those in need in the Darlington area. T.L.C.s food bank is located at 201 Grove St. in Darlington. They are open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food items (especially canned meats) are needed, as are toiletries, bathroom tissue, and paper towels.
