Pastoral Anniversary
Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 400 S. Main Street in Darlington, will celebrate the 9th anniversary of their pastor, Rev. Dr. Cecil Bromell on April 8 at 10 a.m. (morning worship). The guest speaker will be evangelist Tyquan Sparks from Marion, S.C. The public is invited to attend.

Spring Summit
The Woman’s Pee Dee District Department of the Pee Dee Missionary Baptist Association will hold it Spring Summit on Saturday, April 14 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1511 Macedonia Church Road, Cheraw. Reverend Joseph A. McFarlan is the pastor and Mrs. Eunice Edwards is the senior missionary president. The workshop presenter will be Reverend Dr. Waymon Mumford. Nurses will conduct blood pressure checks. Registration begins as 9:40 a.m. and the session begins at 10 a.m.

Walking in the Overflow Conference
The Walking in the Overflow Women’s Conference V sponsored the Woman’s Pee Dee District Department of the Pee Dee Missionary Baptist Association will be held on Friday, April 20 at 6 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 327 South Sixth Street in Hartsville. Keynote speaker is Dr. Sherry Highbaugh, Pastor of Mt. Calvary A.M.E. Church of Hartsville, SC.
Donation $20.00 and youth ages 18 and under free.

Friends and Family Day
Darlington Church of God of Prophecy, 920 W. Smith Avenue, welcomes everyone to their Friends and Family Day, April 29. The service will begin at 10 a.m. and the speaker will be Bishop George McLaughlin. Dinner will be served after the service.

Prayer Service
St. James will hold a Noon Day Prayer Service every Wednesday. Please join us or give your prayer requests to Judy Alexander.

The Upper Room Holy Ghost Mission
Sunday morning worship is at 11 a.m. Bible study Thursday night is at 7 p.m. at 109 Main St. in Darlington Come worship under the leadership of Pastor Warren D. Spearman. Call 843-250-0418 for prayer.

Bible Study

Anyone who needs prayer for healing and deliverance is welcome to call the Covenant Baptist Church Prayer Line at 843-393-8555. The prayer line is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Lord Cares
Please continue to assist The Lord Cares in caring for those in need in the Darlington area. T.L.C.’s food bank is located at 201 Grove Street in Darlington. They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food items (especially canned meats) are needed, as are toiletries, bathroom tissue, and paper towels.
