Walking in the Overflow Conference
The Walking in the Overflow Women’s Conference V sponsored the Woman’s Pee Dee District Department of the Pee Dee Missionary Baptist Association will be held on Friday, April 20 at 6 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 327 South Sixth Street in Hartsville. Keynote speaker is Dr. Sherry Highbaugh, Pastor of Mt. Calvary A.M.E. Church of Hartsville, SC.
Admission is $20.00 and youth ages 18 and under free.
Health Fair
Round O Baptist Church, 1900 Society Hill Rd, Darlington, will hold a free health fair April 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Health screenings will be performed. The event will also feature information about in-home care and life insurance.
Annual Trinity Church Service
You are cordially invited to the Annual Homecoming Service at
Trinity Church, 171 Burn St., Society Hill. The service will take place Sunday, April 22 at 4 p.m. The Rev. Hunter Jordan will officiate. The Rev. Jason Hamshaw will preach and Dr. William Carswell will provide music at the service of Evening Prayer. Following the service there will be a reception on the grounds and a tour of the graveyard.
Women’s Day
Palmetto Missionary Baptist Church, 1104 Piano Road, Florence, will have their Women’s Day Service, April 22. The speaker is Rev. Phyllis H. Law of Siloam Baptist Church. The theme is ‘Godly Women Providing Love Through Leadership, Obedience, Victory and Enlightenment.’ Church School begins at 10 a.m. and the Woman’s Day Service begins at 11 a.m.
Fashion Celebration

Friends and Family Day
Darlington Church of God of Prophecy, 920 W. Smith Avenue, welcomes everyone to their Friends and Family Day, April 29. The service will begin at 10 a.m. and the speaker will be Bishop George McLaughlin. Dinner will be served after the service.
Women of G.R.A.C.E. Event
Central Baptist Church, 512 Spring Street
Darlington, will hold their 2nd Annual Women of G.R.A.C.E. Event
(Godly Reaching Abiding Celebrating Encouraging) May 4-5.
Join us for a weekend of renewal as we learn what it means to exude the sweet Fragrance of Christ and demonstrate the Fruit of the Spirit to others as we strive to live for Him. The event Friday begins at 7 p.m. Saturday will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are required for Saturday’s lunch and are $10. The guest speaker will be Gwen Hollingsworth, a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a BS degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been a pastor’s wife for over 30 years. Gospel in the Park Series
The first Gospel in the Park event will be May 6, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Pride Park, 630 S.6th Street, Hartville. The theme is Bringing Unity into our Community. Devotional service will be render by Pastor A.D Robinson and The Ousleydale Missionary Baptist Church Family. Entertainment provided by Trinity Inspirational Choir, Nora & Serenity of Dillon, Willie Lewis &The Gospel Angels, Hopkins S.C., Smithville Adult Choir of Cheraw. The Lord Cares
Please continue to assist The Lord Cares in caring for those in need in the Darlington area. T.L.C.’s food bank is located at 201 Grove Street in Darlington. They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food items (especially canned meats) are needed, as are toiletries, bathroom tissue, and paper towels.
