Suspected drunk driver smashes Darlington County deputy vehicle
A Darlington County Sheriff’s Office Deputy’s patrol car was struck on January 1, 2016 by a suspected drunk driver. The suspect also had a small child in the vehicle. According to Sheriff Wayne Byrd, the wreck happened on East Billy Farrow Highway when the deputy was hit from behind by a suspected drunk driver.
