Suspected drunk driver smashes Darlington County deputy vehicle
A Darlington County Sheriff’s Office Deputy’s patrol car was struck on January 1, 2016 by a suspected drunk driver. The suspect also had a small child in the vehicle. According to Sheriff Wayne Byrd, the wreck happened on East Billy Farrow Highway when the deputy was hit from behind by a suspected drunk driver. Darlington boys finish third in C. Dan Joyner Poinsettia Classic
The Darlington Falcon boy’s basketball team traveled to Greenville to play in the C. Dan Joyner Poinsettia Classic last week and came home with the third place trophy out of 12 teams.
