Chavis is Lower State Champion
Jackson Chavis of Hartsville High School’s Red Fox Wresting Team, won his first Lower State Championship by defeating his opponent from Lugoff-Elgin in the finals by pin. At 120 pounds, Red Fox Danchez McNeal made it to the finals and finished second. At 138 pounds, Red Fox Noah Gilbert finished 4th, and at 180 pounds, Jude Yates came in 3rd.
