DCSD officials join school board members for elementary school groundbreaking
Darlington County School District officials join school board members Feb. 5 to break ground for a new elementary school to be built in Hartsville at Bay Road and Westwinds Drive, off West Bobo Newsom Highway. County Council approves $4 million bequest
At Darlington County Council’s Feb. 4 regular meeting, members voted unanimously to accept and secure a generous gift left in their care. Council approved receipt of a $4 million bequest from the late Carolyn “Bet” Norment Phillips, which she set aside for the Darlington County Historical Commission.
