Road closure begins Sept. 18
Please be aware that there will be a temporary road closure at the intersection of Syracuse Street and Hart Street in Darlington, beginning on Monday, September 18th through Friday, September 22nd.
September is a busy Moon month
On the 4th at 11:55 p.m. face east-northeast to see the Moon with bright yellow Jupiter about 6 degrees upper right. They’re not that close, but both are so bright it’s definitely eye-catching!
Carraway 5K Run, Blood Drive postponed
Darlington Raceway postponed the fifth annual Terrence Carraway Memorial 5K presented by Brown’s RV Superstore due to the potential impacts of Hurricane Idalia. The event, originally scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 31, has been rescheduled for 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16.
