Carl Edwards wins Southern 500
Carl Edwards came from two laps down to win the Bojangles’ Southern 500, his 25th career victory. Did he do his famous back flip after a 500 mile, 4 1/2 hour race? You better believe it! The Track Too Tough To Tame tradition returned to Labor Day weekend for the first time since 2003, delighting fans with throwback paint schemes on the cars from the 1970’s.
