Brown, Holloman take home FMU’s Got Talent top prize

Patriot students Rischard Brown and Christian Holloman took home the top prize of $500, plus unofficial bragging rights, when the captured first prize in the “FMU’s Got Talent” competition last Wednesday evening at the FMU Performing Arts Center. Brown and Holloman won with a self-composed, spoken word performance accompanied by a live band.

Vocalist Charday Sparks was the first runner-up and pianist Donzell Bailey placed third.

The contest brought together an assortment of acts and performers from FMU’s student body in a two month-long contest produced by the Campus Activities Board. Wednesday’s winners were decided by a vote of the students in attendance.
