Culyer gives 1,000 books to Emmanuel Christian School
Darlington County resident Dr. Richard Culyer has donated over 1,000 books from his own personal collection to Emmanuel Christian School, located at 1001 N. Marquis Hwy. In Hartsville.
King and Queen chosen at Council on Aging
Tuesday, February 14th, the Darlington County Council on Aging held their Valentines Day Breakfast and drew names for the King and Queen.

The Darlington County Cultural Realism Complex, Inc. (DCCRC) will host ‘History Speaks’ event on Saturday, March 11th at 2:00 pm at 302 Pearl Street.
Joint meeting with historical groups
Recently, representatives from the S.C. Archives and History Dept. joined members of the Darlington Historical Commission and Museum and other groups to discuss the importance of historic preservation, city beautification and passing on a rich legacy of historic appreciation.
