40 Years of Partnership, Service & Hope: Darlington honored by Pee Dee Coalition

Elaine C. Hamilton, Executive Director of the Pee Dee Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Assault, recognized the City of Darlington and its leaders for 40 years of service and support to the Coalition.
Ms. Hamilton also recognized many of the Darlington leaders who have been part of this 40-year story and whose dedication has helped make a difference in the lives of individuals and families throughout our community.
Pamela Prince, Darlington County Coalition Executive, shared that of the 1,316 victims served across the Pee Dee, more than 200 were from Darlington County.
The message is clear: There is hope. There is a way out. And you are not alone.
The Pee Dee Coalition is here to support those in need and to help individuals and families find a path toward safety, healing, and a brighter future.
City officials said, “We are grateful for the Coalition’s 40 years of service and for the many local leaders and community partners who have helped support this important work.”
