Skeet-shooting contest aids charity
Over 10 teams competed in a skeet-shooting tournament at Moree’s Sportsman’s Preserve June 14. Clays for a Cause was a fundraiser in its inaugural year and raised over $17,000 benefiting the Pee Dee Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Assault. The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a new e-mail scam. Multiple Darlington County residents have reported receiving an e-mail containing a grand jury summons and additional documents stating that they have failed to appear for jury duty in federal District Court in Darlington.
