Faculty and staff of Pate Elementary School would like to thank American Legion Post #13 for donating these sleeping bags. These will be given to students that do not have heat during the wintertime.

Taste of Mayo 2015
The annual Taste of Mayo fundraiser drew hungry crowds to the Darlington Raceway garage on March 24. Visitors enjoyed a variety of great dishes, everything from seafood to barbecue to fresh, locally grown veggies, all prepared by local restaurants and families. The $10 ticket price covered all you care to eat, and the money supports a great cause – the academic programs and scholarship fund of Mayo High School for Math, Science & Technology.
Darlington man arrested for criminal domestic violence
Charles Eric Andrews age 43, of 115 Sanders Street in Darlington was arrested by the Darlington Police Department on Thursday, March 26 and charged with Criminal Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature. A Darlington woman was arrested after a neighbor witnessed her stealing mail from neighborhood mailboxes and reported her description to 911 on Monday afternoon, March 23.
