Mail thief arrested in Darlington
A Darlington woman was arrested after a neighbor witnessed her stealing mail from neighborhood mailboxes and reported her description to 911 on Monday afternoon, March 23.
The Darlington Police Department responded to the call at approximately 2:14 p.m., and located a woman in the area with several pieces of mail that belonged to other people. According to Lt. Kimberly Nelson, further investigation revealed that the subject had several bags of mail belonging to several different residents in the area.
Sena Larranette Easterling, age 33, of 921 Wilson Village Drive, Darlington, was arrested and booked into the Darlington Detention Center with Larceny of
Mail and Financial Card Theft.
The United States Postal Inspector will assist the Darlington Police Department with the investigation.
