1 dead, 1 wounded in Darlington County shooting
A shooting incident on Larry’s Drive in Darlington County on Aug. 30 has left one person dead and another wounded, according to local media reports and county officials.
No details were available as of press time, but early reports quoted county Coroner Todd Hardee as saying there was one fatality. Hardee identified the man as James L. Williams Jr., 23, of Darlington.
Another person was also shot in the incident, but his or her condition was not known immediately.
