Autry R. Graham

Autry R. Graham, age 77, died September 27, 2016 at the McLeod Hospice House. A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1st at Mechanicsville Baptist Church, followed by interment in the church cemetery directed by Belk Funeral Home. The family received friends from Friday evening at the funeral home.

Born in Horry Country, Autry was the son of the late Gurley B. and Lola Rae Graham. Mr. Graham farmed most all of his life and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Mechanicsville Baptist Church where he was a deacon emeritus, a prayer warrior, and a man of stewardship.

Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Albertine D. Graham; a daughter, Jackie (Billy) Linker, and a son, Randy T. Graham both of Darlington; grandchildren: Brandi (Tyler) Martin, Kelli (Austin) Davis; greatgrandchildren: Lola Brown, Colt Martin, Sam Tisdale, IV, and Claiborne Davis; brother, Ray (Anne) Graham; five sisters: Jean (Ralph) Corley, Eunice (Jimmy) Bradshaw, Alice Brown, Linda Graham, and Wanda Goodman; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Grover Graham and Daniel Graham; and a sister, Estelle Allen.

Donna M. Jeanfavre

Donna M. Jeanfavre, 69, of Darlington, S.C. passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence.

Mrs. Jeanfavre was born on April 2, 1947 in Willimantic, CT a daughter of Rose Matry Leffingwell and Donald W. Leffingwell. In Torrington, CT, Donna began a long and fulfilling career as a nurse in 1967. At the time of her death, she was a senior at the University of South Carolina’s Palmetto College majoring in Political Science. She also had passions for Law, English and Creative Writing. Donna loved to travel and especially enjoyed several trips to Greece. She also loved collecting old books, reading and watching movies. She will be greatly missed by everyone.

She is now happily reunited with her soulmate and constant companion, Falcore.

Surviving are her daughters, Katherine (Brendan) Smith, Kimberly Fiore and Annabeth Negron; grandchildren whom she loved deeply, Henry Smith, Abigail Smith, Lilly Fiore and Tron McCracken; sister, Eileen (T.J.) Kelly and her dog, Pavarotti.

A memorial service was held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hartsville.

Clifford “Bo” Earl Small

Clifford “Bo” Earl Small, age 75, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at his residence. A memorial service was held in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2016. The family received friends at the home, 1225 Old Millpond Road, Darlington.

Born in Darlington on November 21, 1940, he was the son of the late Clifford E. Small, Sr. and the late Viola Truett S. Flowers. Bo’s birthfather passed away at an early age, and Bo was raised by his step-father, Claude Flowers. Mr. Small served in the United States Navy and then worked as a welder in the power plant maintenance industry for Daniel Construction. He retired from Champion Paper Mill in Roanoke Rapids, N.C.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Trader Small; three daughters, Deborah (Wilbur) Sprouse of Gaffney, Michelle (Don) Blankenship of Hickory, N.C., and Shallee Boykin of Darlington; a step-son Ed Ray (Gina) Tyner , Jr. of Darlington; a step-daughter, Susan (Ricky) Williams of Darlington; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a step great-grandchild. Also surviving is his sister, Claudette (David) Guinn of Lamar.

Marshall McIver “Mikey” Locklair

Marshall McIver “Mikey” Locklair, 61, died Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home, followed by interment at Grove Hill Cemetery. The family received friends from Friday evening at the funeral home, and at all other times at the home of his brother, Kenny Locklair.

Mikey was born in Darlington, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Lenwood A. and Ruth Coker Locklair. He graduated from St. Johns High School. He worked for Clanton’s Auto Auction, and later Manheim Auto Auction for 28 years. He also was Emergency Medical Director of The Darlington Raceway for a number of years. Mikey was very active in his community having served as Captain of the Darlington Rescue Squad and the Darlington County Coroner’s Office as Chief Deputy. He was a member of St. David’s Masonic Lodge # 72 A.F. & M.

Survivors include two daughters, Mikki and Michelle Locklair both of Florence; three brothers, Ronnie Locklair, Kenny Locklair and wife Cynthia, and Andy Locklair all of Darlington; and one sister, Lynn Dedrick of Darlington. He was predeceased by his sister, Felicia Locklair Root.
