Cooper Funeral Home – Mr. Carl Lee Caulder, 49, died Sunday, February 19, 2017 at MUSC in Charleston.

Services for Mr. Caulder were held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with burial in Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Born in Norfolk, VA, March 28, 1967, he was the son of Carl and Janet Caulder. He was previously a long time employee of Darlington Veneer, and was a die-hard Carolina Gamecock, Cowboys and Nascar fan. Carl loved his wife and grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Griggs Caulder of Darlington, SC; parents, Carl (Mutt) and Janet Caulder of Fairmont, NC; sister, April Caulder Travers of Darlington, SC; step-daughter, Kadee Hodge (Joey Barber) of Darlington, SC; nieces and nephews, Santana (Spencer) Caulder, Stephen (Khristina) Travers, Katlyn H.L. Travers, Riley Travers, all of Darlington, SC; grandson, Jayden Barber; granddaughters, Anna Leigh Barber and Alexis Barber of Darlington; 2 great nephews and 1 great-niece, Hunter, Allison, and Bentley of Darlington.
Jordan Funeral Home – Mr. Henry L. Coe of Darlington passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017.



Funeral services for Mr. Coe were 12:00 o’clock noon Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Lawson Grove Baptist Church in Hartsville.
Interment followed in Peters Family Memorial Garden directed by Jordan Funeral Home, Inc. of Darlington.
Mr. Coe was born in Darlington, South Carolina on September 6, 1939. He was the son of the late Deacon Sammie Coe Sr. and Azalee Peters Coe. Henry became a member of Lawson Grove Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully in many capacities thru the years.
He was educated in the Darlington County Public School System and graduated from Spaulding High School, Lamar, South Carolina, Class of 1957.
Henry was a hard worker including farming and auto-mechanical work. Additionally, he worked full-time at Perfection Hy-Test in Darlington for many years. After the closing of that company, he was employed by INA Bearing in Cheraw until retirement.
Survivors are: his wife, Annie Ruth Allison Coe; one daughter, Zelta Renay (Harold) Coe and one son, Eric Henry Coe; two granddaughters, Angeneka and Kialta Coe; one brother, Sammie Coe Jr. and one sister, Florrie L. Coe; two brothers-in-law, Major Byrd and Bruce Allison; three sisters-In-law, Wilhelmina Mack, Ruby Carter and Janie A. (Thomas) Davis; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who mourn his passing.
The family received friends at the residence, 211 Magnolia Street, Darlington.
Daniel Glenn Lamonds, 57, of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away peacefully in his sleep on Feb. 19, 2017. Daniel was born in Nurnberg, Germany to William Glenn Lamonds and Edith Cavell Greene Lamonds.



Daniel was a graduate of Pembroke State University with a degree in Music Education. He taught music at Pate Elementary School for ten years. Daniel was the founder and president of Blind Ambition. Inc., and was a writer and producer of children’s music. He previously starred in his own TV show, ‘Cookies and Milk’. Daniel helped conduct music workshops in Hawaii and in Brussels. He later returned to Belgium where he performed for a children’s Cancer Clinic. In May of 1995, he completed a two-month tour of foreign military bases, under contract with the Department of Defense Over Seas Shows, a branch of the U. S. O. Under this agreement he performed to dependent children in Iceland, United Kingdom, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Sicily and Bahrain. In the 90’s he was active in the Darlington County Chapter of the Blind and with Very Special Arts, helping plan Very Special Arts Festivals for children with special needs. After moving to Raleigh, NC, he managed cafeterias in state government buildings, and continued his musical aspirations. He loved to camp with his children in Bryson City and they all had a special place in his heart.
His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his children Jessica Lugo, Laura-Kay Camus (Doug), Daniel Glenn Lamonds II, Eli Lamonds and Aaron Lamonds; his sisters Glenda Thomas (Jim), Libby Reynolds, and Kay Edge (Elbert) and three grandchildren, Nicolas, Kaylin, and Jaxon.

Kistler Hardee Funeral Home – Eleanor Norwood Bonniott, of Darlington passed away on February 22, 2017.
Eleanor Norwood Bonnoitt, of Darlington passed away on February 22, 2017.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Darlington Memory Gardens, directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home of Darlington. The family received friends on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1043 Syracuse Street, Darlington, SC.
“Sweet Pea” as she was fondly known to family and friends was born in the Oates Community. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Ella Norwood and EDell Norwood. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Phillips Sunday School Class, and the United Methodist Women. She shared her faith and love with gifts of cooking and gardening. She was honored with the UMW Rainbow Women Award in 2016. She was also a faithful member of the Kalmia Garden Club and the Keep Darlington Beautiful Committee. She graduated from St. John’s High School in 1950. After 26 years of service in various capacities, she retired in 1996 as the Secretary of the Superintendent of Darlington County School District.
She is survived by her husband, Marion Bonnoitt of 63 years; her daughter, Cyndi B. Blackwood (Jim) of Greensboro, NC; her sons, Ricky Bonnoitt (Penny) and Norwood Bonnoitt (Kim) all of Florence; her grandchildren, Dustin Ham (Kate), Gray Ham, Luke Blackwood, Elizabeth Jones (Phil), Mark Bonnoitt, Courtney Coker (Joe) and Callie Bonnoitt; her step grandchildren, Shannon Reed (Jim), and Jenny Blackwood; her great grandchildren, Jake and Tyler Ham, Coleman and Lucas Jones; her step great grandchildren, Kennan and Lilly Reed. She is also survived by one brother, Murry Norwood (Ruby); and three sisters, Lou Ellen Lewis, Betty Lee and Claudia Braddock (George); and three sister-in-laws, Jennie Blackmon, Judy Norwood and Jeanette Jordan; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, James Norwood, Lawrence Norwood (Mary), J.L. Norwood (Billie), Clarence Norwood, R.A. Norwood (Jeri), and Marvin Norwood; two sisters, Mary Yarborough (Earl) and June Abbott (Warren); and by two brother-in-laws, John Lewis and Bobby Lee.

Jordan Funeral Home – Mrs. Annie Louise Ross Postell of Darlington, S.C. departed this life on February 21, 2017.
The funeral service for Mrs. Postell was 2 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Darlington.
Interment followed in Faith Memorial Gardens directed by Jordan Funeral Home, Inc. of Darlington.
Mrs. Postell was born in Darlington, S.C. a daughter of the late Dozier and Charlotte Williamson Ross.
She was a graduate of Mayo High School and Morris College in Sumter, S.C.
Survivors are: her devoted nieces and caregivers, Tonya Wingate and Christy Williamson; other nieces, Keysha Ross, Billie Williamson, Elaine Reed, Judy (Marshall) Alexander, Deborah Ross Carraway, and Denise Ross; a host of great and great-great nephews and nieces; a long-time caretaker Redel Williamson; other relatives and friends.
The family received friends at the residence, 809 North Springville Road, Darlington.
Belk Funeral Home – Clare Chappell White, age 86, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017. A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 26th at Newberry Memorial Gardens in Newberry, SC, directed by Belk Funeral Home.
Born February 23, 1931 in Jacksonville, Florida, Clare is the daughter of the late Adolpho Raymond Chappell and Mary Frances Woodle Chappell. She worked as a Medical Technologist and was a member of First Baptist Church in Darlington. She will always be remembered for her strong faith, her deep compassion, and the love of her family.
Surviving are her children, Clarissa Chase White, Rebecca (John) White Early, Joseph Wylie White, III, Beth White, and Virginia (Keith) White Sokol; her grandchildren, Dr. John (Taylor) Breeden Early, Jr., Raymond Joseph Early, Elizabeth Massebeau McRae, and Jackson Paul McRae; her great-grandchild, Eleanor Elizabeth Early; her sister, Mary Anne Chappell; her sister-in-law, Brenda Chappell, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Chase Chappell; and the father of her children, Joseph Wylie White, Jr.
The family would like to thank the staff of Oakhaven Nursing Home for their excellent care of Ms. White.
