Funeral services for Ms. Geraldine Coe of Lamar were held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Center Baptist Church in Darlington.

Interment followed in Hart Cemetery # 2 directed by Jordan Funeral Home, Inc. of Darlington.
Ms. Coe was born August 2, 1951 a daughter of the late Dozier and Della Damon. She departed this earthly life on Thursday, July 21, 2016.
She attended the Darlington County Public Schools and was employed at Craigs of Lamar for twenty-seven years.
Ms. Coe was a faithful member of Center Baptist Church.
Survivors are: a devoted live-in companion, Willie Fields; one daughter, Willette Damon (Carlos); four sons, Bernard Coe (Sonya), Nathaniel Coe (Iris), Levern Coe (Monique), and Mark Coe (Phyllis); two brothers, Levern Damon (Edith) and Timothy Damon (Shirley); one granddaughter of the home, Ebony Coe; three step-daughters, Delores Fields, Barbara Fields and Janice Fields; twelve other grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family received friends from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. this evening in the funeral home chapel, and at other times, the residence, 1044 Bay Branch Road, Lamar.
James Maxie Moody, 85, of Darlington went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services with full military honors were held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in Indian Branch United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. The family received friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home and other times at the home, 114 Harper Street.
Mr. Moody was born in Darlington County. He was the son of the late Maxie James Moody and Carrie Mae Brigman Moody. Mr. Moody retired from the United States Army, where he served 2 tours in Vietnam. His mother died when he was 6 months old and he was raised by a special aunt, Amanda “Mandy” Gainey and by special family member Mr. Charlie Edwards. Mr. Moody was a member of Indian Branch United Methodist Church and loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his loving wife of 66 years, Geraldine Jordan Moody of Darlington; his son, Randal Moody and wife, Tammy of Darlington; his daughter, Sandra Moody of Darlington; his granddaughters, Brook Moody Gandy and husband, Lex of Darlington and Kathryn Moody Tarlton and husband, Tab, Jr. of Darlington; and his great grandchildren, Jordan and Jamison Gandy both of Darlington, and Hannah and Kylee Tarlton both of Darlington. Mr. Moody was preceded in death by his parents, and by one brother, one sister, two step-sisters and one step-brother.

Louie Irick, 69, of Darlington died on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Temple Free Will Baptist Church. Burial followed in Grove Hill Cemetery, directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home of Darlington. The family received friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son, Steve Irick, 2633 Swift Creek Road, Hartsville.
Louie was born in Darlington, South Carolina. He was the son of the late, Louie Lee Irick, Sr. and Irene Irick. Louie was the president of Darlington Packing Company in Darlington. He loved Darlington Packing Company, the University of South Carolina Gamecocks, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his children, Steve Irick and Joey Irick (Trina Irick); sister-in-law, Faye Lewis; and grandchildren, Logan, Jamie, Breanna, Joshua, Dawson, and Walker. Mr. Irick was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Iris Irick, as well as his parents and siblings.

Mattie Joanne Winburn Moody, 79, of Darlington went home to be with Jesus on Friday, July 15, 2016. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. Burial followed in Indian Branch Cemetery. The family received friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home and other times at the home, 121 Conders Circle, Darlington.
Mrs. Moody was born in Darlington County. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lyde and Janie Carrie Byrd Winburn. Surviving are her husband, Wallace Moody of Darlington; her children, Grove C. Odom, Jr. of Darlington, Irene Odom of Myrtle Beach, and Marty Watkins, Jr. and wife, Rhonda of Florence; her sisters, Betty Baker of Hartsville, and Patricia Mullins and husband, Frank; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Moody was preceded in death her first husband, Grover C. Odom, Sr.; her second husband, William Watkins; her son, Steve Odom; her daughter, Virginia Mae Odom; and her brother, John Winburn.

Barbara Locklair Spradlin 51 of Darlington, passed away June 18th 2016 in Augusta, Ga. She is predeceased by her son Barry Lavern Spradlin, father Keith Lavern Locklair mother Willia Mae Locklair Hutchinson. She is survived by two sons Benny Spradlin of Darlington and Bradley Spradlin of Washington State. Also survived by her beloved Grandchildren Logan Rollins, Alexzia Spradlin and Kailishia Spradlin. Siblings Tammy Sarvis Collins of Darlington, Gennie Locklair Aloise (Frank) of Washington State, Billy Locklair (Tiffany) of Latta S.C. Ricky Locklair, Susan Locklair Aaron(David) and Bonnie Locklair Guthrie.
Barbara worked as a server at Shoneys and IHOP for many years. Barbara was a beautiful soul and was loved by all who knew her. She could always bring a smile to your face. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Her favorite thing to do in life was southern cooking. Her beautiful smile will be missed by us all. A memorial service will be held at Saint Anthony Church on Hoffmeyer Rd. Florence, S.C. on July 28th 2016 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
