United Way of Hartsville receives donation
Carpenter Technology Corporation, Hartsville Operations, received a second place Corporate Award for Safety Excellence. The $5,000 award was then donated to United Way of Hartsville for Community Service Needs. United Way’s Executive Director, Joann DeLong, stated that most of the funds will be used for beds for Hartsville’s children, as many are sleeping on floors and sofas. To the left of Joann (center) is Mike Kromer, CarTech’s HR Manager and to the right, Bruce O’Sullivan, VP of General Operations.
