Two arrested in shooting at Cruizers
Two men were taken into custody on Thursday, March at approximately 8:40 pm in connection with a shooting that occurred at Cruizers on South Main Street.
Jerel Bernard Graham Jr., age 27, and James Edward Jackson, age 25, were arrested and booked into the Darlington County Detention Center.
Graham will be charged with two counts of Accessory Before the Fact and After the Fact. Jackson will be charged with two counts of Attempted Murder, and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
According to police reports, the subjects pulled into the Cruizers’s parking lot on S. Main St along with another vehicle blocking in the vehicle that the victims were in and started arguing with the victims. When the victims attempted to drive away a shot was fired into their vehicle.
Officers were across the street at the Huddle House and witnessed the incident. Officers were able to stop the vehicle that Graham and Jackson were driving. No victims were hurt during the incident.
Investigators are asking for help in locating Cameron Terel Jackson, age 23, the driver of the other vehicle that also attempted to block in victims. The Darlington Police Department is asking anyone with any information about the incident to please call the police department at 843-398-4026.
