Trinity-Byrnes among best private schools in South Carolina
Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School has earned the ranking as the 10 best private high school in South Carolina by Niche, an online website that researches schools and colleges in the United States.
This ranking was based on data sources including the Department of Education. The percentage of the overall grade is broken down as follows:
• Average SAT/ACT composite score (normalized to the same scale) 30 percent
• Average score of colleges that students are most interested in or go on to attend 25 percent
• Percentage of seniors who go on to four-year colleges 15 percent
• Racial and economic diversity and survey responses on school culture and diversity from students and parents.10 percent
• Survey responses scored on a 1-5 scale regarding the overall experience of students and parents from the school. 10 percent
• Ratio of students to full-time teachers. 10 percent

Trinity-Byrnes offers 16 AP courses and is proud to report that 24.2 percent of our AP tested students this spring achieved a score of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams qualifying them as AP Scholars.
Additionally, 100 percent of Trinity-Byrnes graduates are accepted into 4-year colleges and universities.
Trinity-Byrnes also earned a ranking as 38 out of 52 for Best Private or Public High School for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
