Three suspects held in October slaying

Three people have been arrested in an October slaying, and two of them are charged with murder, kidnapping and other crimes, according to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.
Shai’keem De’Angelo Freeman-Peterson and Tyquan Clayton McPhail are both charged with murder, attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, first-degree burglary, kidnapping, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and discharging a firearm into a dwelling, according to online records at the Darlington County jail. Both were denied bond on all charges.
A third suspect, Daquana Denaysa Benjamin, faces criminal conspiracy charges, and charges of being an accessory before and after the fact of a felony.
The three are accused in the death of Dimitri McDaniel on Dotts Circle outside Darlington. He was reportedly shot five times.
