Suspect in Pine Ridge slaying surrenders
A Hartsville woman who was being sought in connection with a slaying in Pine Ridge May 26 has surrendered to authorities.
Reneka Shane Brown, 26, turned herself in to deputy U.S. marshals with the Fugitive Task Force, according to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office.
Brown is charged with accessory after the fact to murder after the May 26 killing of Desmond Coe of Hartsville.
Investigators allege Brown allowed her vehicle to be operated in the commission of a homicide and attempted to hide the vehicle.
