
Last Thursday, during the intermittent heavy rains, the City of Hartsville sponsored a Power Hour Clean-Up from 8am to 9am at Pride Park, 630 South 6th Street, in Hartsville. Many came and donated an hour of their time to help Keep Hartsville Beautiful. Clean-up supplies, water and snacks were provided. The event was sponsored by The Butler Heritage Foundation, Hartsville Kiwanis Club, Women’s League of Hartsville, Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, CareSouth Carolina, Trap Dickey, Duke Energy, Humana Healthy Horizons in SC, Roses of Hartsville, Darlington County Sheriff James B. Hudson Jr., Jason Luck for House Seat #54, Mighty Dog Roofing, Paula Wise, A.O. Smith, McBee SC. The downpours did not stop them at all!
