Sheriff’s office holds blood drive

The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office and The Blood Connection joined last week to host a Boots and Badges Blood Drive at the sheriff’s office. Donors signed up at the tent and gave blood inside one of the Blood Connection’s buses. For each donor, organizers donated $10 to the nonprofit Terrence F. Carraway Foundation, named for the Darlington resident and Florence police sergeant who was killed on duty in 2018. PHOTOS BY BOBBY BRYANT
