High School seiors awarded Sgt. Terrence Carraway scholarships

Four high school seniors from the Pee Dee were awarded Sgt. Terrence Carraway Scholarships June 23 during ceremonies in Florence City Council chambers. The annual scholarships were presented by Carraway’s widow, Allison, and Florence Police Chief Allen Heidler, in honor of Carraway, a Darlington resident and Florence Police officer who was killed on duty in 2018. The scholarships are for $1,000.
